Devoid: Ascension and Apostasy now released


Hello everyone, it's Micrometer Squared Studios once more, and this time we bring forth the long awaited fourth (and final) update to the Devoid Demo: Ascension and Apostasy.

What does this checkpoint mean? No, we're not stopping work on Devoid, we've only just started. This update marks the end of development for the Demo, starting the development of the full release instead. Without further ado, what's in this long-awaited update?

-Fixed behaviour for several entities 
-Added lesser entities throughout the game
-Fixed perk functionality
-Industrialized all maps
-Renamed 'Archives'
-Added new perks
-Added perk rerolls
-Added perk implant system 
-Added new music
-Removed perk upgrades
-Changed weapon cooldowns to work on stamina
-Tweaked character monologues
-Added voices to some characters
-toby
-Fixed lag in most locations

Along with fixes and additions from previous patches and early accesses.  We've also changed our format of exporting. Rather than relying on NWJS to port the game, we now have transferred to using WebView2, which is much more lightweight and induces a lot less lag. However, this also means the loss of support for our Linux users. Sorry, guys.

But yes, this concludes the major updates for the Devoid Demo. While we didn't include local co-op as we said we would, we will do so in the full release of the game, along with tons of new features.
